Samstagern, 27 August 2026 – Garage Jüni is powered up: The long-established family business is now selling models from the Chinese high-tech brand XPENG. As an official contract partner in the greater Bern area, the company is showcasing its expanding product range – including the option of fully electric test drives. This makes the smart mobility of the future tangible on site.
The name says it all: Benz Jüni turned his passion into a profession and founded his own company in 1972. Since then, Garage Jüni, which has now grown to 15 employees and is run by Michel Jüni in the second generation, has been a fixture and a reliable partner – and since 1 August 2026 also for XPENG. The showroom in Rosshäusern at Stationsstrasse 8, measuring around 180 square metres, provides the right setting for the model range.
Among the models on display are the XPENG G6 SUV coupé (power consumption 16,8 - 18,4 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; energy efficiency category: B/C, combined values according to WLTP), the flagship XPENG G9 SUV (power consumption 19,4 - 21,3 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; energy efficiency category: C, combined values according to WLTP), the sporty XPENG P7+ family saloon (power consumption 15,2 - 17,4 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; energy efficiency category: B/C, combined values according to WLTP), as well as the seven-seat luxury van X9 (combined energy consumption 20,2-20,8 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km; energy efficiency category: B – combined values according to WLTP subject to final homologation), which is now configurable.
The four models are based on a state-of-the-art 800-volt charging architecture, combined with the industry’s first 5C LFP high-voltage battery. In the interests of sustainability, the lithium iron phosphate battery does without rare minerals such as cobalt, manganese and nickel, without compromising performance. With ranges of up to 615 kilometres (WLTP combined for XPENG X9 FWD Long Range), the quartet offers exceptionally high charging performance: the XPENG P7+ charges at up to 446 kW, the XPENG G6 at up to 451 kW, the XPENG G9 at up to 525 kW and the XPENG X9 at up to 542 kW – all top figures in the industry. This means the batteries can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in just ten minutes.
Another AI-defined vehicle will soon follow with the XPENG L03 SUV coupé (combined energy consumption 15,3 - 18,4 kWh/100 km; combined CO₂ emissions 0 g/km; energy efficiency category: B/C, combined values according to WLTP, subject to final homologation). As an entry-level model measuring 4.65 metres in length, it paves the way into electric mobility. Sporty design, the brand’s typically extensive equipment and advanced assistance systems meet various battery and drive variants with a range of up to 520 kilometres (WLTP combined for XPENG L03 RWD Long Range). Deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter.
