Munich/Dielsdorf, 15 April 2026 – XPENG will be represented for the first time this year at the international Hannover Messe (20 to 24 April 2026) – a significant milestone in its European growth strategy. By appearing at the world’s leading platform for industrial innovations, the high-tech company is deliberately positioning itself not as a traditional car manufacturer, but as a global technology leader in the field of AI mobility.

At Hannover Messe, XPENG will present its vision of a connected future in Hall 26, Stand G44, across approximately 70 square meters, where artificial intelligence, robotics, and the next generation of mobility solutions seamlessly interact to sustainably improve people’s everyday lives.

European premiere of the Land Aircraft Carrier

A particular highlight is the European premiere of the Land Aircraft Carrier. This innovative next-generation hybrid mobility concept exemplifies XPENG’s expanded ecosystem approach, which goes far beyond traditional vehicles and integrates solutions in the fields of air mobility and humanoid robotics.

The land-air vehicle combination sets new standards for innovative and adaptable mobility. Its modular design, which can be separated into a ground module for driving and an air module for flying, represents a revolutionary leap in modern mobility.

The presentation in Hannover also marks the start of a European tour for this forward-looking concept, with further planned stops including Denmark and Sweden.

From car manufacturer to AI mobility company

With its presence at Hannover Messe, XPENG is deliberately making the transition from traditional automotive platforms to the global stage of technological innovation. As one of the few mobility providers appearing alongside leading companies from the fields of AI, robotics, and intelligent manufacturing, XPENG underlines its ambition to define a new category: human-centered AI mobility.

This concept is based on a comprehensive AI mobility ecosystem that encompasses intelligent electric vehicles, humanoid robotics, and flying mobility solutions – all united by a powerful, unified AI architecture. In addition to the Land Aircraft Carrier, the sporty fastback sedan XPENG P7+ (power consumption 15.2 - 17.4 kWh/100 km; CO2 emissions 0 g/km; energy efficiency category: B/C – combined values according to WLTP), which is just being launched in Germany, and the humanoid robot “IRON” will also be on display as representatives of this vision.

“XPENG’s debut at Hannover Messe showcases our capabilities and demonstrates our ambition to develop high-tech for the benefit of people. That’s why we are not appearing as a classic car manufacturer, but as a technology company that actively shapes the future with the support of AI and rethinks mobility beyond the road. The Land Aircraft Carrier impressively embodies our innovative strength. And the fact that we are presenting it as a European premiere at the international Hannover Messe is a sign that Germany and Europe play a central role in our strategy,” says Markus Schrick, Managing Director of XPENG Sales Region Central Europe.
