XPENG is a Chinese automobile manufacturer headquartered in Guangzhou. Founded in 2014, the company has been offering a range of fully electric vehicles since 2018 across Asian, Australian, Eurasian, and European markets.
XPENG vehicles are produced at three locations in China (Guangzhou, Zhaoqing, and Wuhan). In addition, the company operates five research and development centers in China and the USA, along with several international offices abroad. XPENG employs around 15,000 people worldwide.
XPENG’s operations in Europe are managed from its European headquarters in Amsterdam (Netherlands). In Munich, the company hosts both its European competence and development center and the home of XPENG Motors (Germany) GmbH. This entity is responsible for the German market and the emerging Central European sales region (DACH – Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
