Munich/Dielsdorf, 16 July 2026 – XPENG is making the switch to electromobility even more attractive: With the XPENG L03 (combined energy consumption 15.3-18.4 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km; energy efficiency category: B/C – combined values according to WLTP subject to final homologation), the Chinese high-tech brand is bringing a new entry-level model to Switzerland. Orders will soon be possible at participating XPENG authorized dealers, with the first customer deliveries starting in the fourth quarter of this year.

With the new XPENG L03, we are offering a more compact and attractively priced entry-level model that supports our brand values. The new SUV-coupé also features a progressive and sporty design, high-quality comfort and safety equipment, and a powerful electric drive with an outstanding charging speed for this vehicle class,” explains Markus Schrick, Managing Director of XPENG Sales Region Central Europe. “At the same time, with the XPENG L03 we are introducing a new drive and product structure, giving customers more flexibility and choice – XPENG is thus aligning mobility even more closely with customer needs.”
More drive options, more range
The XPENG L03 uses a 400-volt architecture, guaranteeing an all-electric range of up to 520 kilometers (WLTP combined for XPENG L03 RWD Long Range) and short charging times. Thanks to a charging capacity of up to 236 kW, the battery charges from 20 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
Two battery sizes as well as rear-wheel and all-wheel drive are available:

As an alternative to the all-electric variants, the XPENG L03 will also be available as a “Range Extender Electric Vehicle” (REEV; this vehicle will be sold in Switzerland from autumn, energy consumption values will be published upon homologation): The wheels are driven exclusively electrically, but a small 1.5-liter petrol engine acts as a generator, recharging the 37.25 kWh LFP battery while driving. Up to 1,000 kilometers (WLTP combined) are possible with just one tank and battery charge, of which more than 200 kilometers are purely electric. Pricing information will follow.
All model and drive variants feature a Vehicle-to-Load function (V2L). This turns the XPENG L03 into a mobile power bank, supplying external devices such as e-bikes and more with electricity.
The few available options include an electrically swiveling trailer hitch and the exclusive Black Edition. The XPENG L03 comes with a seven-year or 160,000 km vehicle warranty and an eight-year warranty on the high-voltage battery (up to 160,000 km).
Compact dimensions, spacious interior
At 4.65 meters in length, the XPENG L03 is the most compact model to date from the Chinese high-tech brand. It combines the best of all worlds and vehicle classes: the sporty, progressive lines of a coupé with a roofline sloping towards the rear, the robust elements of an SUV, and the rear of a fastback sedan. Every detail has been developed with maximum efficiency in mind, which is reflected in its excellent aerodynamics.
The front is characterized by boomerang-shaped LED headlights, while the rear features an LED taillight strip below the 1.10 square meter rear window. The flared wheel arches and increased ground clearance emphasize the SUV character. While the XPENG L03 comes standard with aerodynamic 18-inch alloy wheels, the top model “Ultra” is equipped with 20-inch wheels that perfectly showcase the yellow-painted brake calipers. Five paint finishes – Arctic White and the metallic finishes Midnight Black, Rock Gray, Silver Frost, and Phantom Purple – as well as a Black Edition, offer plenty of room for customization.
Two color themes in light and dark gray are available for the interior. They harmonize with the dark velour headliner and other high-quality materials and soft-touch surfaces. The large panoramic roof creates a light-flooded interior, while the ambient lighting provides a pleasant atmosphere at night and dusk.
With a wheelbase of 2.85 meters, the XPENG L03 impresses with generous space – and that’s despite the coupé-like roofline, even in the rear. The front seats are electrically adjustable, heated, and ventilated; the driver also benefits from lumbar support. A massage function is also included in the top trim. For luggage, there is a 367-liter trunk and a “frunk” under the hood with up to 89 liters of space. Numerous storage compartments enhance everyday functionality.
High-quality equipment, autonomous top model
The XPENG L03 comes with high-quality equipment: In addition to electrically adjustable, heated, and ventilated front seats, standard features include electrically adjustable, folding, and heated exterior mirrors, LED headlights and taillights, a sound system with nine speakers distributed throughout the vehicle and two integrated into the driver’s seat, smart navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, and the intelligent Xfree Breath air purification system with PM2.5 particle filtration. Three displays – the 8.9-inch digital instrument cluster, the central 15.6-inch HUD touchscreen, and a 26.8-inch head-up display – provide all the necessary information.
A heat pump, typical for the brand, is also standard, contributing to efficient interior temperature control and thus to high range efficiency. The tailgate opens electrically. Panoramic roof and ambient lighting are also standard.
Safety is ensured by seven airbags and more than 13 assistance systems, grouped under the term “XPILOT” – from emergency braking, blind spot, and lane change assist to cross-traffic and door opening warning. The adaptive cruise control anticipates speed limits and traffic lights, keeping the vehicle centered in its lane.
The top model XPENG L03 AWD Performance “Ultra” (from CHF 46,600) is available exclusively with the 285 kW/388 hp electric drive and all-wheel drive. The Turing AI Chip developed in-house by XPENG, which delivers AI computing power of up to 750 tera operations per second (TOPS), forms the foundation for the Next Generation Pilot (NGP): Thanks to the system based on the so-called Vision-Language-Action-System (VLA 2.0), the XPENG L03 operates at Level 2+ on Swiss roads (Europe-wide legal regulation expected as of 01.01.2027). Also on board is the XOPERA sound system: With 18 high-end speakers, it ensures an outstanding sound experience, while active noise cancellation and an autonomous lane change assistant enhance comfort.
