XPENG P7+: New Fastback Sedan Now Available to Order

Dielsdorf, 6 March 2026 – Starting signal for the new XPENG P7+ (electricity consumption 15.2 - 17.4 kWh/100 km; CO2 emissions 0 g/km; energy efficiency category: B/C – combined values according to WLTP. These are the anticipated technical specifications. All information is subject to final homologation): The Chinese high-tech brand has opened its order books in Switzerland for its new fastback sedan. The 5.07-meter-long five-seater, which combines generous space with advanced technologies and a typically powerful electric drive, is now available to order from XPENG authorized dealers at prices starting from CHF 46,600. The desired model can be configured at https://xpeng-cars.ch/konfigurator, with the first vehicles being delivered in the second quarter of 2026.

The new XPENG P7+ features a sporty and elegant design with balanced proportions and a distinctive, shark-like nose at the front, resulting in excellent aerodynamics. The drag coefficient of just c_W=0.211 contributes to low consumption values and high range efficiency. Like its two electric siblings, the XPENG G6 (electricity consumption 16.8 - 18.4 kWh/100 km; CO2 emissions 0 g/km; energy efficiency category: B/C – combined values according to WLTP) and XPENG G9 (electricity consumption 19.4 - 21.3 kWh/100 km; CO2 emissions 0 g/km; energy efficiency category: C – combined values according to WLTP), the sedan is also built on the 800-volt architecture. In combination with a 5C LFP high-voltage battery, which does not use rare materials such as cobalt, manganese, and nickel, it guarantees everyday range and ultra-short charging times. Thanks to a charging capacity of up to 446 kW, the battery is charged from 20 to 80 percent within ten minutes or from ten to 80 percent within twelve minutes – both industry-leading values.

Two battery sizes as well as rear-wheel and all-wheel drive are available:

• XPENG P7+ RWD Standard Range: with 61.7 kWh battery, 180 kW/245 hp rear-wheel drive and up to 455 kilometers range (WLTP combined) at prices starting from CHF 46,600
• XPENG P7+ RWD Long Range: with 74.9 kWh battery, 230 kW/313 hp rear-wheel drive and up to 530 kilometers range (WLTP combined) at prices starting from CHF 49,600

• XPENG P7+ AWD Performance: with 74.9 kWh battery, 230 kW/313 hp at the rear and 140 kW/190 hp at the front, as well as up to 500 kilometers range (WLTP combined) at prices starting from CHF 53,600

Thanks to the dual motor on the front and rear axles, the XPENG P7+ AWD Performance accelerates almost like a sports car: it sprints from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.

Smart technologies for more relaxed driving

As the brand's first AI-defined vehicle, the XPENG P7+ marks another milestone for the young company. Thanks to XPENG's latest intelligent computing platform and the company's own Turing AI chip, the XPENG P7+ offers AI computing power of up to 750 tera operations per second (TOPS).

With its powerful processors and a total of 25 sensors, radars, and cameras distributed around the vehicle, this next-generation platform enables improved perception and faster data processing of hazards and obstacles. Even complex traffic and road conditions are confidently mastered thanks to the advanced technology: the XPENG P7+ assists, for example, with smooth lane changes, safe cruising, and effortless parking.

For this purpose, the fastback model is equipped with 14 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that support the driver as standard in various situations – from emergency braking, blind spot, and lane change assistants to traffic sign recognition. The intelligent parking assistant, which can be conveniently controlled via the smartphone app, maneuvers the vehicle into parking spaces both perpendicular and parallel to the road. This makes parking child's play, even in the smallest spaces.

Continuous over-the-air updates (OTA) ensure that the vehicle is constantly evolving and receives new functions throughout its entire lifecycle. This means the XPENG P7+ keeps getting better even after delivery.

Connected and immersive cockpit

Like every XPENG, the new XPENG P7+ is fully connected. Up to five displays provide occupants not only with all necessary information but also allow control of many functions. In combination with an AI-powered interactive system, a seamless digital experience is created.

In addition to the digital 8.8-inch instrument display behind the steering wheel, there is a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, which, in addition to digital radio DAB, also enables intelligent navigation including charging planning with the preferred charging provider. The smartphone, integrated via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, can be charged inductively, and the ventilation integrated into the charging tray prevents overheating.

For the first time in a XPENG, a head-up display is also on board, projecting all important driving information into the driver's natural field of vision. This allows the eyes to stay on the road and the hands on the wheel. The digital rear-view mirror provides an unrestricted view of the traffic behind – even if the middle seat in the rear is occupied by tall passengers.

From the RWD Long Range version onwards, there is an additional central eight-inch screen in the second row of seats. This allows rear passengers to control their personal infotainment preferences. Every XPENG P7+ comes standard with the XPENG sound system, which includes a total of 20 high-fidelity speakers distributed throughout the vehicle, including one in the driver's seat. Navigation, calls, and music are played through separate audio zones to meet the different needs of the driver and passengers. In combination with surround sound and four-stage spatial audio adjustment, excellent sound quality at the highest level is guaranteed – with clear highs, deep bass, and a natural sound.

Spacious and comfortable interior

The XPENG P7+ was developed with European customers and their lifestyle in mind. The sporty silhouette combines the elegance of a sedan with generous space comparable to European station wagons. With a wheelbase of three meters, even rear passengers enjoy exceptionally ample legroom and – despite the roofline – also headroom. There is also a large trunk, which holds 573 liters as standard according to the VDA standard. By folding down the rear seats, this can be increased to up to 1,931 liters – with the load length growing to 2.10 meters. One of the largest trunk openings in this class also makes loading easier.

In the style of classic business sedans, the XPENG P7+ relies on high-quality and appealing materials: for example, the headliner is adorned with a microfiber velour with a cashmere-like, skin-friendly texture. The panoramic glass roof, which extends over both rows of seats, creates a light-flooded interior that is highlighted at night by ambient lighting with 256 colors.

Occupants sit on perforated seats, from RWD Long Range onwards in Nappa leather, which provide perfect lateral support and maximum comfort even on long journeys. As is typical for the brand, the front seats are not only electrically adjustable but also come standard with heating, ventilation, and a massage and memory function. In the rear, these functions are included from the RWD Long Range version onwards.

For the complete interior trim, a more environmentally friendly coating technique is used instead of traditional water-based coating. This underlines XPENG's commitment to zero-emission vehicles, even beyond the fully electric and locally emission-free drive.

Confident on any terrain

Whether in the urban jungle or on the highway, the XPENG P7+ was developed for the diverse driving conditions in Europe. Supported by the European research and development center in Munich, which opened in 2025, the fastback sedan achieves the perfect balance between driving pleasure and comfort.

At the front, a double wishbone suspension is used, and at the rear, a five-link axle. The adaptive chassis adjusts the suspension within 20 microseconds. This guarantees confident handling on city streets, winding country roads, and high-speed highways. The optional all-wheel drive increases traction in adverse conditions.

Additional comfort is provided by extensive sound and noise insulation: the XPENG P7+ features up to 62 targeted noise reduction points, 26 cavity barriers, and 36 sound-absorbing elements, which, together with the almost silent electric drive, create a quiet and relaxed atmosphere on board.

Safety is also a top priority: in addition to seven airbags and 14 assistance systems that support the driver in everyday life, the vehicle features a safety cage with up to 2,000 MPa ultra-high-strength steel and a multi-layer battery protection system that withstands even extreme conditions such as high pressure.

Comprehensive standard equipment

Like all XPENG models, the new XPENG P7+ already comes with comprehensive standard equipment in the entry-level Standard Range version, covering almost every wish. In addition to the connected cockpit, sound system, and numerous assistance systems, a dual-zone climate control system, the intelligent Xfree Breath air purification system with PM2.5 particle filtration, and a heat pump, which contributes to high range efficiency, are also included.

From the Long Range version onwards, 20-inch instead of 19-inch alloy wheels and Nappa leather instead of synthetic leather seats are used. In addition, rear passengers also benefit from seat heating, ventilation, and massage function.

Among the few remaining options available for all model variants are an electrically swiveling trailer hitch (surcharge: CHF 1,190) and the metallic paint finishes Graphite Grey, Midnight Black, and Silver Frost (CHF 800).
