Dielsdorf, October 21st 2025 – Just in time for its market launch, XPENG has launched its own newsroom in Switzerland. The multilingual media site, specially designed for media representatives and content creators, provides all the information about the Chinese high-tech automotive brand and its model range – quickly, clearly, and intuitively.

In line with XPENG’s design philosophy and brand identity, the new newsroom impresses with a look that is both modern and high-quality. It combines large-format images and a harmonious color scheme – fully in keeping with the national and global corporate identity. However, the guiding principle remains the same as for every XPENG model: form follows function. The new XPENG Switzerland newsroom serves as a tool and information source for media professionals. Users should – and can – find their way around quickly and intuitively. Thanks to the responsive design, the screen size automatically adapts to the respective device – whether you access the website via smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer. Large tiles on the homepage make navigation and handling easier.

Intuitive operation

The status bar, which is located at the top or on the side depending on the device, leads to the most important sections: In addition to “Contact”, you can, for example, select the latest model- or company-related announcements. The “Media Kits” section brings together all information on the individual models in four language versions: German, English, French, and Italian. In addition to the latest press releases and product texts, available media such as photos and videos as well as technical data and price lists can also be found here.

Anyone who has not yet registered can also sign up for the newsletter at the bottom of the media site and be added to the press distribution list. This way, users stay up to date and automatically receive the latest information.

Progress from China

XPENG is one of the leading manufacturers of smart electric vehicles: The Chinese high-tech company was founded only in 2014 – and has been on an expansion course ever since.

Since July 2025, XPENG has also been present in Switzerland, one of the world’s most important and fiercely contested automotive markets. Customers in this country can currently choose between two models: the XPENG G6 SUV coupé (energy consumption combined 17.5-18.4 kWh/100 km; 218-358kW, 0g CO2/km, Cat: B) and the large family flagship XPENG G9 (energy consumption combined 18.4-20.1kWh/100, 258-423kW, 0g CO2/km, Cat: C).

Powerful electric drive and ultra-fast charging: these are the hallmarks of the two models, which, as part of a comprehensive overhaul, are based on the next generation of 800-volt architecture. Both the new XPENG G6 (energy consumption combined 17.5-18.4 kWh/100 km; 218-358kW, 0g CO2/km, Cat: B) and the XPENG G9 (energy consumption combined 18.4-20.1kWh/100, 258-423kW, 0g CO2/km, Cat: C) come as standard across all trim levels with the industry’s first 5C LFP high-voltage battery. The lithium iron phosphate battery does not require rare minerals such as cobalt, manganese, or nickel, ensuring greater sustainability without compromising performance. Thanks to the enormous charging capacity of up to 451kW (XPENG G6) and 525kW (XPENG G9), the batteries can be charged from ten to eighty percent in just twelve minutes.

In addition to the electric drive, advanced AI-supported technologies and extensive standard equipment are included. Many comfort and technology highlights such as full LED headlights, heated front and rear seats, a panoramic glass roof, sensor-controlled tailgate, and dual-zone automatic climate control are always on board. The comprehensive XPILOT assistance systems, which include adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane centering assist (LCC), collision warning (FCW), rear cross traffic alert (RCTA), and door open warning (DOW), support the driver in everyday life and can help prevent accidents or at least mitigate their consequences. This ensures the highest level of safety, as reflected in the top rating of five out of five stars from the independent testing organization Euro NCAP. Additional protection is provided by the seven-year manufacturer’s warranty up to 160,000 kilometers.
