XPENG Goes on Air: Chinese Brand Partners with TV Show Trio on ProSieben

Munich, September 10, 2024 – Primetime for XPENG: The young Chinese brand will appear on three major TV shows airing on Germany’s ProSieben channel over the coming weeks. Viewers tuning into "TV total Turmspringen" (September 21, 2024), "Bundesvision Comedy Contest" (September 28, 2024), or "Schlag den Star" (October 12, 2024) will have the chance to win one of two new XPENG G6 Performance vehicles (combined energy consumption: 17.9 kWh/100 km; combined CO₂ emissions: 0 g/km; CO₂ class: A).

Stamina, discipline, and fighting spirit: these traits are traditionally required in ProSieben’s prime-time Saturday night shows, produced by Brainpool – whether diving into cold water or competing on the classic game show "Schlag den Star." In that show, two celebrities compete in up to 15 rounds for a prize of 100,000 euros. Meanwhile, in September, Sebastian Pufpaff will host the "Bundesvision Comedy Contest," searching for the funniest federal state in Germany. Each one sends its top comedian into the race – which one will be crowned the funniest?

In cooperation with creative and marketing agency Banijay Media Germany, XPENG is the official car prize sponsor for all three shows. Participants can enter the prize draw via phone or SMS for a chance to win a brand-new XPENG G6 Performance, valued at 51,600 euros (manufacturer’s RRP including 19% VAT). The fully electric SUV coupé is the latest model offered by the Chinese automaker in Germany.

The XPENG G6 combines sporty and elegant design with its signature roofline, a powerful electric drivetrain, and a range of up to 570 kilometers (WLTP combined) – allowing drivers to travel worry-free and fully electric. Customers can choose between rear-wheel and all-wheel drive with outputs ranging from 190 kW / 258 hp to 350 kW / 476 hp. The electric drivetrain is paired with either a 66 or 87.5 kWh battery. Thanks to charging speeds of up to 280 kW, the high-voltage battery can charge from 20 to 80 percent in just 15 minutes – with 100 kilometers of range added in just five minutes.

Like all XPENG models, the new G6 comes fully equipped as standard. Standard features include full LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, vegan leather seats with heating in the front and rear, ventilated and power-adjustable front seats with memory function, a panoramic glass roof, and a power tailgate. A 15-inch central touchscreen controls the intelligent navigation system, the Xopera surround sound system with 18 speakers and 960 watts of output, various apps such as Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, and numerous vehicle functions. In addition to the many assistance systems supporting the driver, a 7-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty ensures peace of mind and worry-free mobility.
