Munich, February 27, 2025 – Progress as standard: intelligent driver assistance systems, top connectivity, and innovative control concepts are included in every XPENG. The Chinese high-tech automotive brand offers numerous features as standard that are often only available in higher trims or at extra cost from competitors. Exclusive insights into these technologies and how they work are provided by the “XPENG Vehicle Tutorials,” now available on the XPENG Germany YouTube channel. These videos explain the most important vehicle functions, how to configure them in the menu, and how to use them properly.

The short videos cover nearly all innovations the vehicles offer – from over-the-air updates that continuously improve the car after delivery, to customizable digital displays and personalized touchscreen interfaces, to intelligent charging and route planning. Based on personal preferences, the system plans the journey including ultra-short charging stops. Ultra-fast charging with up to 300 kW (depending on the XPENG model) adds significant range in just minutes at compatible stations. For example, the XPENG G6 (combined energy consumption: 17.5–17.9 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions: 0 g/km; CO₂ class: A) and XPENG G9 (19.4–21.3 kWh/100 km) can be charged from 20% to 80% in 15 minutes.

The series acts as a virtual user manual, showcasing the assistance systems and how to navigate them in the menu, including features like lane change assist, door open warning, and adaptive cruise control. The clips also explain how to adjust seats, climate control, and exterior mirrors, how to use the many features of the XPENG app, and how to create individual driver profiles.

The explainer videos are engaging and straight to the point. They apply to the full model range — the XPENG P7 sports sedan, the XPENG G9 SUV, and the XPENG G6 SUV coupé — with shared functions demonstrated in joint videos, while model-specific procedures are covered in separate clips.

The tutorials are also a great sales tool to showcase the smart features to potential customers even before a test drive. It’s the perfect way to fully experience XPENG’s smart electric mobility.”

The XPENG Tutorials will initially include around 20 videos, with more clips and topics planned in the coming weeks and months. In addition to model-specific features, XPENG will address frequently asked questions from dealers and the online community.

Most of the functions featured in the XPENG Vehicle Tutorials can be controlled via the touchscreen or the multifunction steering wheel. Voice control is also possible: since the recent over-the-air update OTA 5.4, XPENG models now understand German. Simply say “Hey XPENG” to activate features such as turning on seat heating or adjusting regenerative braking levels step by step.
